Great park/reservoir. Walking along the top of dam is relaxing. Many fishing spots as well as boating. Free Frisbee golf course is always fun. Small play ground set for small kids is nice. Parking is free and have never had trouble finding a spot.

This is one of the most underrated parks I know of. It has several playgrounds, and is an excellent area for doing stairwork for runners. There is so much area for walking. The length of the dam itself is nearly 1/2 a mile, so doing laps makes approximating distance quite easy. With wild eagles, gulls, and even swans, the wildlife is a major feature of the dam. This is a great area for kids and adults alike!

Went cruising through here with the family during the summer. Very pretty. Looked like some nice spots to stop but i haven't had a chance to do that yet. Traffic nearby is heavy and there are a lot of people visiting there. On my list to explore more next year.

Very good place to go for long trial. Looks fantastic during fall season. Should have set up much bigger play areas for kids. Enough parking spot everywhere near the dam and one at the bottom. Place for football is available. Good place to spend at least half a day.

There are two parking lots - one at the top of the dam right against the main road and one at the bottom. Bundle up if it's cold and you walk on the top because it gets really windy. They have frisbee golf past the dam on the trail leading into the woods, it's a really gorgeous place. Although there are thousands of acres I haven't found any rugged hiking trails yet. Rumors of bald eagles being spotted here also float around so keep your eyes peeled.
