I was initially assigned one apt. After having all utilities turned on the apt number was changed bc the first apt was not ready. Moved in Nov 22,2017. I had no hot water for 17 days, neither toilet would work, heater would not turn off, closet door wouldn’t close, shower curtain leaned, ice maker wouldn’t work, neither would the outlets. After having to threaten to demur them they finally got my hot water working but still having no toilet was told it’s not an emergency. They finally came to fix the toilets & outlets but maintenance did something & now NONE of my over head lights work. There was some water damage in the living room unfixed. They cut an extra access panel to the heater & left it with raw sheet rock. The office personnel are neither sympathetic nor helpful. They constantly send me to maintenance voicemail who NEVER RESPOND! I do not ever recommend this place to anyone!!

My apartment has flooded 3 times within the month and a half I have lived there. I got out of the hospital yesterday to find 60% of my apartment had been reached by 1 foot of water (the water heater has been causing problems, I've reported it about 20 different times). The complex doesn't even own a shop vac and said they could do nothing about the standing water until Monday. They think it is acceptable to extract the water 3 days after and not move me or replace the molded materials. There's a long list of reasons this apartment is unfit to live in. I don't have a car or anywhere else to go or stay. This place is a complete scam. Not to mention the bug infestation, previously rotted cabinets from the renters before, wallpaper on the floor (which maintenance ripped in places while fixing kitchen appliances) and there's random paint splatter everywhere. Also my water has been out for 24 hours. The list goes on but my physical health is in danger with stress right now. I'm posting here because this apartment complex is endangering my health, my roommates health, and I cannot even safely have my daughter in my home. These people shouldn't be fired, they should be arrested.

This place is horrible. Very unsafe neighborhood. People break into your car at 7 pm with no fear. Maintenance is horrible, even when you report things that are urgent, don’t keep your hopes up for them to come quickly. My neighbor got mugged, my car got broken into. They delete all 1 star ratings on their main page. Their advertisement is a facade. Agents are rude, management hide behind the agents and relay messages when you want to talk to them, not even having the courtesy to speak directly to you when the issue was a safety issue. Unless you like to gamble with your life and belongings DO NOT MOVE HERE. and Laura is the worst and rudest agent. It one thing to have issues with your apartment, but when it comes to the safety of your life and health it’s a whole other level of issue. Which the staff can care less about as long as they get that signature to hold you captive for a year.

DO NOT!, I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! I wish I could give no stars at all! All these people here do is lie and try to get you to sign their lease because they know after you do that it’s over from there on they part! Maintenance is terrible and so are the staff and managers! My honest option I THINK THESE APARTMENTS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD BECAUSE THEY ARE TRASH AND NOTHING EVER GOES RIGHT! I have to buy new clothes and shoe because my toilet Flooded in all of my clothes and my babies clothes have mold on it! I’m pregnant and the air conditioning or heat does not work and haven’t been working since the day I moved in and I moved in at the end of June!!! The stove also does not work and pest-control couldn’t be doing a job right because bugs are everywhere!!! Oh, And did I forget to mention that it’s also mold in here!!! This is my first apartment and I can sadly say this is the worse experience I have ever had! Take it from me before you have a lawsuit with them like I and some of my friends and family that also stay here do!

I really regret my decision to move here. At first everything was great but then they started turning off the water frequently. I put in numerous work orders that were either ignored or they came out and did patch work instead of actually fixing the problem. None of the people in the office know anything about the facilities on site. I was even told that the complex had to be fully renovated by August and I haven't seen anything done. It really has been a waste of money living here. I've never lived anywhere that required you to pay $100 on top of your rent for water and trash pick up and pest control. All types of insects are always in your unit so I'm not too sure about the pest control. If you do decide to move to The Park at Hoover make sure that you are okay with living somewhere that they don't care about their tenants and only want your money.
