I love staying here with my family, we come visit all the time. The hotel staff are very kind and friendly and non-racist like the San Luis Resort. I have been coming for 4 years now and Hotel Galvez makes you feel and treats you like you’re at home. Room service is great, the food is amazing, the pool is beautiful. Everything about this hotel is magnificent. The details and history about Galvez are just extremely beautiful. The prices are also great! You have a beautiful view of the beach that’s right across and Pleasure Pier is just a five minute walk from the hotel. Thank you so much for my stay, I look forward to coming back soon again!

Really clean comfortable hotel that oozes old world charm.  Different to all other places we stayed in Texas - definitely a favourite, because it is a chain hotel, but still quite unique.  A little bit of a shame that the sea wall blocks any view of the ocean, but the big wall would be useful for when the hurricanes come through.  Within walking distance of a good seafood restaurant further up the road.  Great place for walking along the sea.

My wife and I and baby I really enjoy staying here this weekend. This is a top-level hotel. We really enjoyed having the view of the ocean outside our room. Made for a wonderful sunrise this morning. All of the staff are super friendly. We really enjoyed coming during restaurant week so we can enjoy the food of Galveston and enjoy cheap prices because it's cold outside. Highly recommend going to the pool as they have a heated pool throughout the year. The gift shop lady was extremely nice. And I appreciate them having coffee 24/7. Last year my wife and I ate at the restaurant and it was 5 star I recommend the red snapper + the bar is absolutely beautiful. Fantastic hotel.

A high standard hotel! I was participating in a GRG conference held here. The hotel has a very nice view of the beach and the ocean. One can spend nice time beginning with February. March and April are the best times for you to stay with in. Summer is actually to warm for me. The sand is fine you can enjoy the ocean water no shark are fined in area! Enjoy!

An absolutely beautiful hotel to visit. It's packed with amazing history filled with stories even kids will love to listen to. Although its a bit hard to get a room there, it's definitely worth it. The service is amazing and the area around the hotel is lovely to walk around in. Its an absolutely beautiful place to take photos and to have a grand time. Lovely place to take a small vacation, or a long one (depending on your paycheck).
