Tried to get answers from simple questions from Jill on two different properties. No responses. She sent out obviously form texts to me twice asking the same information and when I tried to request additional details she never responded. Ignored questions (pet policy, price of deposit, etc) and instead just let me know when the properties were no longer available. Never answered her phone or called me back. For two separate listings. Meanwhile Ryan at the same company was fast and courteous, and answered all my questions. Be sad if you have to go through Jill. I was.

Extremely poor communication. I have been attempting contact to resolve minor issues with my property manager and continue to be told, “ I’ll check into it and get back to you.” (Without further follow up of course) I have never rented from such an unprofessional human and/or company. The fact that they never take responsibility for their low quality services only makes them look less competent. The professionalism of this company is further revealed in the comments back to reviews. Not accepting ownership of faults, and only attempting to humiliate anyone who reviews them less than perfect...

I rented from this company for over a year and a half. They were never prompt on completing work orders. We called on multiple issues that were an issue since the day we moved in, they were never addressed. They then proceeded to charge us for the things that we asked to have fixed since day 1. Our refrigerator was never in working condition and would make our food go spoiled, especially in the summer, and they never fixed it or replaced it, even though we asked them numerous times to do so. The apartment was not clean upon move in, and there were broken light bulbs on the floor that we had to clean up because it wasn't done before we moved in. They charged the residents before us (we knew them) for things they did not even fix or replace, and then proceeded to charge us for the same things that they charged them for. They are so unprofessional in the way they have things done. There was no move in sheet or move out sheet to document the condition of the property before and after move in. They found absolutely every thing they could to charge us for and did not refund any of our deposit. They have been known to screw people out of their money and have been sued over it on numerous occasions. The conditions of the properties they rent are horrendous and outdated. The only good thing i can say about this company is that they are able to work with people on things. I am regretful that i ever referred anyone to rent from this company. I would never recommend them to anyone. I know multiple people that have experienced close or worse situations renting from this management company. Their procedures and customer service is undeniably unprofessional.

My experience is that Housing Hub is mainly looking out for the owner in their business arrangement. Which makes sense, I suppose. I have just moved into an apartment building near Metro State and the place seems clean enough with just the right amount of crazy neighbors to make it interesting. I love St Paul and this neighborhood - so far so good with the office folks. Can't complain. Will update my review if things go weird.

I've rented a house through them for almost three years and no complaints. Of course, I don't have to call them much and they never bother me. I almost bought the house from them last month but they wanted too much for it and wouldn't budge. I love the house but it's not worth their price. Good people though, we'll see how they treat me when I move out this summer :(
