Great place to be. New ownership is doing a great job in renovation! Room was clean service was very respectful and courteous. Anything we needed we had it in a prompt manner. I was very impressed with my stay.

If I could go into the negative on stars I would. Cannot put into words how disgusting this place is. Lots of people just living here . If you have children I for sure wouldn't stay here. I've stayed in much nicer places for a lot cheaper. This place isn't worth paying for. They would have to pay me to stay here and even then I wouldn't do it. To many bad things to list. It would take all day to describe it and I still wouldn't be done. DISGUSTING and NOISEY.

Don't do it! Just don't do it. Charged $140 for one night in this horror hole. Carpets heavily stained, didn't want bare feet to touch the carpet. Behind bedside table looked like a dog had lifted its leg and peed and no-one ever cleaned it up. Chair had two big brown spots on seat. TV didn't work and never did work even after employee supposedly "fixed" it. Room was close to highway and could hear noisy highway traffic through walls. Was afraid to sleep in sheets so laid on comforter and used my own pillow. Attempted to send an email with pictures in order to get a refund of some of my money - no reply back. Can you imagine the nerve of this hotel charging $140 for this?

Terrible experience working with the weekend overnight front desk agent. He was hiding out back with the entrance locked when I arrived. After I got to my room I made an attempt to make a call to schedule a wake up call, and got no answer. Then I went out to my vehicle to grab my things and discovered the door was broken, unable to lock or even close completely. When I walked over to the office(tried calling, again no answer) he was out front smoking. I asked for a room that could lock he gave me a response of "yup". I then told him he should probably make a note of the door being broken and he then told me I needed to check my attitude. The original room he gave me also wreaked of smoke. As I was receiving my new room keys he mentioned I had been on his case since we first spoke about prices, and then proceeded to talk down on me for not understanding how his hotel worked. Terrible service, almost to the point of feeling threatened. Do yourselves a service and do not stay here.

I used to associate Howard Johnson with fine hotels. After this stay, I am changing that thought. I could have stayed at a motel 6 and had a better experience. Pool out of order. Maids don't clean or replace towels and soaps. Small rooms, old furniture, lots of noise near the freeway, situated in an alley behind Lowe's. One of our non smoking rooms has a lingering odor of marijuana. 3 tables available for a breakfast buffet that has muffins, bagels, cereal, eggs and tortillas. The floor under the bathtub makes noises that lead me to think I'm going to fall through the floor...NEVER again will I stay at this location.
