HSHV is an award-winning animal welfare organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of homeless, injured and abused animals in our community.

Story

Since 1896, the Humane Society of Huron Valley has existed to support the loving and responsible care of animals in our community. In 2009, we moved to a state-of-the-art building to further our mission.

Please note: In order to protect the community conversation, we reserve the right to remove any comments and/or prevent any person from making comments on our page.

To prevent confusion, any comment or post with information on donating to another organization or cause will be removed.

We encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions on our page, but please be respectful. A comment will be deleted if it or the profile picture contains hate speech; profanity or vulgarity; personal attacks; spam comments such as those selling a produce or the same comment posted repeatedly; and other comments that HSHV deems inappropriate.

If the same comment is made by someone 3 or more times (excepting innocuous comments like "Shared"), the comment is considered spam, and that person will be prevented from making further comments on the HSHV Facebook page.

Constructive dialogue and educational comments are encouraged. Comments that are solely inflammatory (e.g., name calling or unrelated to the topic) will be deleted, and the commenter will be blocked from making further comments on our page.
