Clean and modern, the staff was friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal for a quick walk downtown. The only negative is that there is no room service. You order and go downstairs to pick up your order. The food and drink prices are high and while $10 for an 8" pizza is not unreasonable in general, it is for a recently frozen pizza still cold and gooey in the center. The rooftop bar has a fantastic view.

I gave one star only because there was no option for ZERO! We booked our room in advance and we were extremely excited for a wonderful “Girls” trip! We chose the location because of its amenities and being downtown! We arrived and upon checking in and giving our names our hostess said “Oh no” we replied... “What does that mean?” We were told our room was given away because there was a basketball team in town. We were then offered the Best Western to stay at! Are you kidding me? Of coarse we could come back the next day and stay! NO THANK YOU! Please learn how to accommodate you’re guests in HONORING their reservations! We are now staying at a hotel away from downtown with NONE of the amenities we desired... do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Impeccable customer service. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. Our room was bigger than we had anticipated with a pullout sofa/sitting area. Bed is very comfy and room temp was easy to control. Nice closet and full length mirror. Large windows with dual black out shades and sun shades. Breakfast is yummy, but does end early. Highly recommend.

Very comfy rooms and the breakfast is on par for Hyatt's quality. The bathroom is very nice. Comfortable beds. The drop down shade over the windows is CLUTCH for those who sleep during the day and need to block out the light (I work 3rd shift).
The valet staff were very polite and greeted myself and my crew every morning. The staff at the counter however seemed a little dry, not rude or anything but in a hotel that is so classy I expected a tad more hospitality and personality. Every interaction with the staff floating around the front desk just seemed awkward and uncomfortable. Other than the stay was wonderful.  The fitness center and pool were very nice and well kept.
It should be noted there is a fridge in each room but no microwave, there is a microwave in the breakfast area however. I understand this is likely due to trying attract guests to the rooftop restaurant that I did not get to check out on this visit, but would like to next time.

Great spot, located close to everything. Pretty close to walking distance from the best places in Asheville. Walked to the Visitors Center for the trolley, and walked to all over the downtown area for food, fun, and nightlife. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Decor was modern. Free breakfast is not your typical hot continental, much better with more options and a more open seating area. We loved our stay at the Hyatt! Would definitely stay again!
