As a disclaimer, I liberally throw five stars at hotels as long as it's reasonably clean, the bed is in good, clean shape, and the plumbing works. Here everything is nice, better than what I expected. My only issue was that when watching TV, some of the stations just dropped out and the picture looked like if the cable was ran from Texas to the hotel here (real grainy). Besides that and the cleanliness of the room, the employees here are super nice and accommodating, the breakfast was good, and even the employees operating the shuttle services were polite, caring, and just all around happy. While it's tucked away behind some buildings and you can easily miss the sign, it is nestled near some fast food chains and a nice short walk to City Place.

We had a group of 12 in town for an event and stayed in two rooms (two beds and an additional pull-out bed in each room). While we were there, the staff was always friendly and accommodating. The location's great since it's close to the airport and has a shuttle service throughout the day. We were able to get to downtown Miami easily through the public transportation system from the airport. If I were to visit Miami again I would definitely book here again.

One thing that stood out to me about this Hyatt Place is that even though my group checked out and I had to wait in the lobby for 5 hours, the staff showed excellent hospitality towards me and asked if I needed anything while I waited.

We were evacuees from the Keys during Hurricane Irma. I Got rear-ended on the turnpike and had to find a place quick for 3 of us. They happened to be open and has one room left! During an evacuation and state of emergency!  They were so kind, and the hardest working people. Made sure everyone was happy and comfortable, and at home...Never lost power even during The worst of the storm there. We can't thank them enough. We were so worried about our island (Big Pine Key) and when We returned, our house was flooded to our doorknobs, as 90% of this place was really damaged.....I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat! And they have an awesome breakfast..great bar and staff😉❤ Thank you guys for the hospitality and your kindness! We will never forget that week of 9/8/17-9/17/17

Great hotel! Our room was nice and clean, staff was very helpful and friendly shout out to Carlos for all his help. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because back door was broken and wouldn't open from the outside (struggled with that due to our room being right by that door) other than that we enjoyed our stay!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was AWESOME and very varied. For those who want to be healthy or those who prefer a savoury breakfast there's something for everyone. The room and hotel in general was kept very clean! Special mention of Elvis who to me went above and beyond!
