I stay here every time I'm in Miami. The staff is always great! It's one of the older Intercontinentals, but still comfortable and clean. It's in a great location. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and only 10 minutes from the airport. The outside and pool areas are nice.

This was my first visit at this InterContinental and as an ambassador member they truly rolled out the red carpet upgrading me to the suite that are requested as well as granting me Club access. The staff was remarkable and the attention to detail was noticeable. Greatly appreciate the hospitality and look forward to a return visit to this amazing property

One of the nicer hotels around Miami airport, MIA, is the Intercontinental Doral which is a 15 minute drive from the airport yet in a quiet location. He hotel also runs an airport shuttle. You have plenty of shopping and eateries around the hotel, but you do need a car as it is not easy to access without one. They have a nice outdoor pool and a good size gym as well as a nice outdoor patio. The rooms are big and well planned with plenty of space and all things you would expect and select a business room for some extra space and amenities. The hotel has a full service Spa with plenty of options and there is a nice bar and restaurant in the lobby area. Unlike most other airport hotels they have free selfparking.

Continues to disappoint... check in was fairly smooth. Hotel lobby is very nice. Looks very upscale. Once you hit the floors you know it is not. We checked in late, after 11pm coming in late from Key West. As soon as I opened the room door, musty dampness hits me. Carpet is wet enough that I feel moisture on my bare feet. Sheets also feel damp. Robe smells badly. Not a great start here.  But it's late, let's revisit in the morning. Air barely cools off the room. Left the fan running while out the next day hoping for some relief. None in sight. I do give credit to the team here for accommodating my request to switch rooms. Next room, no dampness. Great! But there's a stench akin to cat urine that fills the room. At this point I'm checking out very early morning, not going to request another room. In the new room I want ice. No machines. Must request ice. 20 mins later still no ice screw it go to the pool.  As I sit here not poolside but several feet away in the shade (smoker section?) There aren't enough lounge chairs to go around. It's my last day here & my birthday this hotel has come in way under expectation especially for the rate this weekend. So much for my last ditch effort at a winter tan. Thanks intercontinental. I'll never stay here again.

They recently renovated the Hotel. We book a room for a 20 people meeting. The food was great, service excellent and the price worth every penny.
Plus it is located minutes form airport
