This is located in a very beautiful place and I had a good time here on a business retreat. It was late in the fall, but no early snow. Brisk nights and mild days. The accommodations were first rate with good beds, nice bathrooms and good food. I would consider returning if I choose to visit Lake Tahoe when the snow is not the main reason for visiting.

If you're planning a meeting or event, I strongly recommend this hotel. I've attended a lot of conferences, and never had "conference food" that tasted so good. The hotel staff that handle the meeting logistics were always around making sure everything was perfect. In addition, the property is amazing. Somehow it is a large property, yet has the feeling of a quaint cozy hotel. Not to mention, it's tucked away with great views and scenery of Lake Tahoe. The casino is a also a great addition, especially since they have a sports book. For those that like to hike, you can find great hiking trails within walking distance. If I ever come back to Lake Tahoe, this will be the only property I choose.

This property is just beautiful!! The rooms are very nice, very clean. Everyone was so nice! Lone Eagle Grill is outstanding!! The beach is so beautiful! We loved having wine and watching the sunset! We will definitely be returning here very soon!!

It's almost too much here! Amazing hotel in some incredible scenery. They have hotel rooms but some beautiful cabins we were able to stay in. They're staff were the best. You can do everything here... water sports, tennis, sunset catamaran boat cruise, heated pool, and ... a casino! Wish we could go back NOW!

The Hyatt was overpriced, completely booked, and their service was sub par. We have stayed at the Hyatt Hill country resort in San Antonio and have always been very impressed with their service and amenities. However, this Hyatt property was run down, old, and in need of a face lift. But most of all, it really needed service staff that gave a damn. No one knew when any of their shops on property actually opened or closed...we received multiple answers to the same question. The Hyatt staff need to smile more, be more informed, and provide better service. If we were staying at a Holiday Inn or a Days Inn, we would expect very basic amenities and satisfactory service. But given that we were staying at a Hyatt, an expensive one at that, the average consumer will expect more for their money. One a good note, the main restaurant (forgot name) was pretty good for hotel food and the room service food was well prepared. With some additional training, I'm sure they could more readily earn 4-5 star reviews.
