The Hyatt is a great Convention Center open Modern and conveniently located. My biggest problem with the Hyatt is its expansiveness and parking. Kind of hotel in the structure you're okay you don't have that far to walk not really! You still have to walk to the front of the hotel and walk through the whole Lobby and then the Long Walk way to registration. Or you can try to fight the union guys and sneak in the back door through the parking's back doors. Probably my favorite place is the lobby at the Hyatt great for watching sports events on the big screen this projected onto the wall or the plethora of televisions splattered All Over the Bar. There's a great sushi bar and a nice little restaurant and if you're early enough to get the shoe shine guy. Recently renovated their rooms are modern but a little bit cold. The decor is kind of grayish and modern. If you're lucky you get one of those really cool chairs with the wings otherwise is it standard for a hotel room furniture. Check in isn't that great but it gets the job done.

Hotel was a decent 4 star. Were there for a 49ers game. Parking situation was confusing, but check in was quick, staff was nice and the room was clean. Bathroom doors are the sliding doors that aren't great for privacy or quiet closing in the middle of the night (why does any hotel designer think those are a good idea??), but products were nice. They had free popcorn in the lobby for the game day crowd, which will always win me over. Super close to the stadium, which was great. We ordered room service when we got home that night and it was quick, but the order was inaccurate. The next day we went down to the free breakfast the check in host said we had only to find out she was wrong and breakfast want included. So a lot of good and some points that could easily be improved. 3.5 star hotel overall.

Ridiculous customer service. Called the phone number provided on the confirmation page, had to be transferred 5 times and was disconnected twice. Only after I was transferred back to the SAME operator 4 times did they actually transfer me somewhere useful. Next concern: they charged a credit card after explicitly telling them NOT to, as I was in the middle of filling out a credit card authorization form. My business traveller suddenly realized her personal credit card was charged a very large amount. The whole calling in and customer service to fix this issue was atrocious with ridiculous wait times. I was calling at 1:00PM - there is no reason why someone wouldn't have been at the front desk to answer my call. I suspect after seeing the same number on the call display 5 times they just figured they best keep ignoring me. Will never book here again. Shame, as this was business travel and they could have gotten repeat business from us.

We came for a convention and had an amazing time. The room we stayed in had two queen beds and it was beautiful and spacious. The food in the hotel is pricey, but amazing. The sushi bar is reasonably priced and very good, however. The staff was very helpful and nice. The pool is spacious and lit at night, as is the hottub, though the pool is very cold at night. My only complaint is that the elevators felt very wobbly. The one to the pool and from the parking garage, specifically, freaked and shook us upon stopping. Mostly paranoia on my part, but it was certainly a little scary.

The employees are all very nice and the hotel is very clean. I would have given it 5 stars if the bed was more comfortable and the a/c worked better. The room was a little warm and the bed was a little firmer than what I like.
