WOW!   What a great group of  professionals.  Steve Zettle and his guides are amazing. They delivered a trip of a lifetime. Safe enough for my 70 YO mother and enough adventure for my 20 YO son. 
When we arrived the Forest Service said the access road was closed due to downed trees. Our hotel said we would probably have to fly to a lower part of the river to start our trip.  I guess they didn't know Steve Zettle .   Steve went out the day before and cleared the road on his own with the help of his guides and a chain saw.  The bus company cancelled our ride so Steve got some vehicles together , and with some of the guides riding in the back of the truck, got us to the put in point with little fan fare. It was just like another day at the office for Steve.  If I didn't know better I would I have thought it was just part of the trip. 
Idaho Wilderness Company is the real deal.  They can deliver as promised. 
I will be going back ASAP. Thanks Steve and crew.  Leisure Rules 5  !

First-rate experience!  Steve Zettel and his hand-picked team of guides are masters of opening the magic of this wilderness to all regardless of experience. Not only do they provide a peak experience, they do it in a way that is both natural, and seemingly effortless, the kind of experience that only client-focused masters can regularly provide. As beautiful as the Middle Fork of the Salmon River is, all housed in the Frank Church River of No Return Widerness, one leaves not only with a true appreciation of this unique land, but also with fond memories of Steve and his guides. The process of sharing their wilderness with us left us amazed with the country and feeling like family. We will be doing this again!

We have been on several multi-day whitewater trips and these folks ROCK! The food was delicious and plentiful, and each and every guide was helpful and competent. The Middle Fork is on of the top rivers in the country, and Idaho Wilderness is one of the top outfitters. Highly recommended.
