DO NOT buy baby chicks from IFA. We bought a couple of hens in the spring, but ended up with a rooster. After doing some research, we found out this happens frequently to people who buy from IFA. They don't guarantee you are getting hens and told us to post the roosters on KSL. This is heartbreaking since we raised the chicks from babies, spent lots of money at IFA to get them set up, and got attached to them. Do yourself a favor and purchase your chicks from local farmers when they're a few months old. They're friendly and adjust easily to your home environment. We learned from experience.

These gals have impeccable knowledge of animals .. I have been in here instead of going to the vet for every little thing they have never mislead or given me bad advise ever..  Just down to earth and I love this place....

The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating! It is an enjoyable place to stop in and get what you need. And i love seeing the tiny little newbies. ...ie chicks, goslings, bunnies,  duckies....

Terrible customer service. Called in to see if they have a product. The girl who answered would not go check. I would have been happy to wait until she had time. I live quite a ways away, need an antibiotic for a sick animal and for me to drive in just to see if they have it is not a possibility.  I had to prompt the girl to try and get a firmer answer and she finally said she would check when she had a free minute and call me back.  In the end she never called me back.  Will not be shopping here again, ever!!!!

Got transferred several times and then hung up on. The girls on the phone are worthless at customer service. Why even pick up the phone if you don't know how to talk to customers??
