This is my favorite IHOP to go to because it's usually not too busy on a Sunday during lunch time and it's pretty affordable when compared to the other sit-down restaurants in the area. Their IHOPPY hour menu is great. You can get a full-size burger with french fries for only $6 as well as a couple of other menu items as long as it's after 3pm and until 9/10pm I think. There aren't many options on this particular menu and they also have smaller sized items like mozzarella sticks and chicken strips for $4 which is an amazing price. However, I will say that if you're expecting to get 3 full size chicken strips for $4, you would be mistaken. They definitely cut down on the sizes for the chicken strips and probably do for the mozzarella sticks too, but at the price point, it's still a fair buy. It's also worth noting that they seem like they try to offset these prices by adding a couple of extra dollars to their drinks. A glass of Pepsi was $5.09 and an iced tea was $4.99. That's over $10 on two drinks? On the bright side, they have free refills for fountain drinks. Another thing that worth mentioning is that HOP finally introduced a rewards program which is actually pretty decent in terms of spending to rewards ratio. So when I come here, I don't feel like I could be spending my money more efficiently elsewhere because at least when I spend money here, I'm getting a bit more back in my pocket because I can redeem a free burger or something using my points which I actually did while I was here. You just have to make sure you tell your server. Oh, and for anyone wondering, it's located right in front of the Q41 bus stop.
Great prices! Servers were nice and patient with my group that took a minute to decide what we wanted. Bathrooms were clean. Food was yummy. It’s always pretty empty, and even when you have to wait their 10-15 minutes is more like 5-7 mins at most and this was 6pm on a weeknight. Restaurant is conveniently placed by several trains and busses. I will say mozzarella sticks have been very hit or miss, so maybe take a look around and see if anyone else got them before you order.
Typical IHOP location that looks newly renovated, everything looked prestine and clean. We went on a Tuesday morning and the host immediately got us a seat. However, our server was overworked and had to manage a few tables at once. We asked for extra half and half but was forgotten about. We got a breakfast sampler and strawberry banana pancake which was great. Hash browns was a tad dry but the pancake were great as usual.
The workers are very nice and the food is amazing. Not too expensive as well. We got a whole breakfast meal for a under $20 each person and it was totally worth it. Our waiter was also very nice and funny and the restaurant is kept clean.
They were low on staff when I went in and there was a slight issue with the portion of food but they fixed it and they gave great vibes. The manager was very polite and they made my birthday extremely special although it wasn’t much I gave a 2$ tip I recommend you give a tip when you go and be polite to them because you experience will be amazing.
I tried the gluten-free pancakes hoping it could be another option for me, but they were really bad. Had a weird flavor at the end, I couldn’t finish half of it. It’s really a shame. I hope they can improve them.
The server got into some situations that cannot serve us and we are not happy about it, but the lady/manager came up with nice attitude and serve us really well. I am glad ihop have her as the manager/employee. She gave me a good impression about ihop. I will still come visit IHOP.
The pancakes were nice. The order of seasonal French toast was missing an ingredient. Bacon looked sad.
As every one is well aware of this, yesterday was Veterans Day. Our server was Julissa who was a sweet woman. The service was okay I’m guessing they were a little short staffed. Everything started cool until it was time to order, she wasn’t really interacting with our table like her other tables. I was told my wife couldn’t get the pancakes because she wasn’t the veteran understandable so I’ve paid for hers, HOWEVER do not stand there and give discounts to your coworker friends that was not right at all. Family is one thing but the friends? No. On top of that it took forever to get hot water for the silver wear, It took forever to get the check although I got more than the free pancakes and overall I’ll go back to my usual Veterans Day IHOP next year.
It was pretty empty however, we had to wait 10mins. Okay no problem. The table we were seated at was dirty. We waited another five minutes for wait staff, whom I had to asked her to clean the table. Coffee was hot food was great. I guess it was a staffing issue.Food: 5/5
