My friend and I came here for brunch post workout class and had the best time. The waitress was wonderful and went above and beyond in making our cafe drinks. They offer bottomless mimosas for a great price but we opted out that day. We will certainly be partaking next time though! The food was great and the portion sizes were superb. We ordered yuca fries, guacamole and chips, chilaquiles, and enchiladas off the brunch menu. I had a great experience and will absolutely be returning!
Nice ambiance! Customer service was good. Price was somewhat elevated which serves canned beans with side of rice and beans which was on the salty side..Great presentation, Drinks are good. Salmon portion size was smaller than expected, definitely need an added side to feel just decent. If your hungry, Overall it was just ok. Wouldn't revisit
The vibe is cool. The ambience is nice. It's a good place for friends or a date. I had the salmon with the naked sweet potatoes and asparagus. It was a popular dish at my table. I also had yuca fries which were my favorite. Shrimp appetizer is yummy. The chicken nachos were tasty. The drinks are good. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Check this place out. It's easy to get to but parking will be hard just as a fyi.
Didn’t come with much expectations but ended up enjoying the food here! Came for dinner on a Friday night as a party of three and we ordered the following: - Pollo Asado - Tacos Longaniza - Tacos Pescado - Esquites, Corn Off The Cob - Oxtail Birria Quesadillas - Huarache with Shrimp - Churros I personally liked the Pollo Asado with the corn tortillas. I’m not sure what kind of corn tortillas they use here, but I loved it and think it made a great difference on the food. I’ve had corn tortillas that are more rough and grainy, which weren’t to my taste, but this was soft enough but not to the point where it would break super easily. My ideal kind of corn tortilla! The Tacos Longaniza consisting of sausage was surprisingly very good and was the reddish kind of sausage, which was not what I was expecting. I liked this more than the fish tacos Tacos Pescado since it had more flavor and isn’t a kind of taco you can find anywhere. They each come in three per order. The Esquites were good, though came much smaller than I had expected. It came in a small round bowl that felt like it’d be gone after a few bites. I also liked the Huarache with Shrimp on flatbread. Make sure to get it with the shrimp - it definitely made a difference. The Oxtail Birria Quesadillas were just decent, nothing too special about them. Lastly, wasn’t a fan of the Churros. It comes with a chocolate dip, but the texture wasn’t what I was expecting so don’t really recommend getting.
I really enjoyed my experience here and plan to return. I got the fish tacos and a side of rice and beans. The restaurant is on the pricier side for what you get $16 for two fish tacos and then an extra $5 for rice and beans. If I had only gotten the tacos, I would’ve left hungry.
WOW where can I begin?? For starters, I've officially decided this is my favorite restaurant as of right now. Reservations were easy to make, we arrived a few minutes late but were sat immediately despite it. We were greeted as soon as we sat by our waiter, ordered our drinks. He came back right after and we put our appetizer in and our meal, before we were even finished putting our food in our apps were being placed on the table! The guac was good but honestly not my favorite, i think the flavor is different than what i usually enjoy. I got the burrito bowl with chicken, everything in this was FANTASTIC. The portions, the flavor, AMAZING. My girlfriend got the chicken quesadillas she said they were pretty good. The atmosphere and decor was also really nice. Overall, the food, the staff, just everything was so fast but also so amazing. Especially for a saturday night!! I'm definitely coming back here and I definitely recommend!
This cozy taqueria offered a wide range of options but I came for Taco Tuesday and a cold beer; I wasn't disappointed. The portions were smaller but the flavor was big. We tried the skirt steak, fish, and chicken tacos; the chicken outshone the fish beat out the steak, but I did enjoy them all. My only quibble might have been that the steak could have used a lighter hand on the chili oil, ymmv. The chorizo nachos hit the spot and the churros were a perfect size to split. The ambiance encouraged a definite proximity between guests, which may or may not matter to you. It's location on Fulton doesn't offer much in street parking, you're better off hoofing it here. It's a spot I wouldn't mind working through the menu, but I'm a Colorado soul deep down.
Came here after a show at BAM for some drinks. The Oaxacan Negroni was tasty but needed to be chilled more before serving— I had to let it sit in my glass for a while to get to temperature. The guacamole was very good, and the salsa sampler was an interesting and novel idea. 3/5 of the salsas was were excellent, the other two were less memorable. The music was pretty loud for a Tuesday, but service was quick and attentive.
Fun ambiance, great service, and delicious drinks! The food was just ok. The carne asada tacos were very cheesy but the steak was overcooked. The mole sauce was overwhelmingly smokey.
Taco Tuesdays are a good deal here- 3 tacos $10 as I write this. The white sangria is awesome, must try as well as the tuna tartare tostada.
