I'll gladly change this review to 5 Stars if this simple issue is rectified: 1 Cashier : 30 customer ratio. At dinner time. I felt bad for the teenage cashier and told him his manager should really schedule more people than that. Beyond that, IKEA is an awesome place to shop and buy furniture for DIY'ers. I love the food here and that's where these photos were taken. Honestly one of the best combos of delicious and healthy food options for a great price. The problem is the massive lines. Management rarely schedules more than 2 cashiers, despite lines like the one pictured, at prime times, on any day. I've seen much worse lines, but usually there are 2 cashiers. Ultimately, there should be at least 4. I have heard people complain about this in line several times now and figured it was time to write a review. Management! Please fix this issue!

I hadn't eaten at Ikea for a couple of years. My memory of the last few times I ate here suggests to me it was sort of unforgettable. Fast forward to today, we ordered the chicken and waffles, stuffed chicken plate, kids meatball plate, and chocolate conspiracy cake. All in all, the food quality this time around was much better. The string beans were not overcooked and had good flavor. The waffle flavor was really good, though a bit soft in consistency. Got a Naked juice and OJ. Family ate for $24. Our kid really enjoyed the kid play area that's pretty darn secure while we did boring shopping. Costa Mesa, CA store.

Objectively: Floor plans are convenient to help maneuver around. Plentiful selection. Attentive and courteous employees. Consistent quality work. Has a food court. Subjective: IKEA is the best, my wife and I have IKEA dates like bimonthly. You never get "the bad kart" which is so nice. The food is well portioned,well priced, and we can't get enough of it :). And! The furniture selection and such is huge, but the place itself has enough room so you can browse and not feel overwhelmed. It's great :].

The Costco of furniture stores. Whatever you get you either buy it one piece at a time or it comes in 100 pieces and you get to put it together. Don't be fooled by the show room floor. It may look cool but it'll take you forever to assemble. That's just the way Ikea is. They need more shortcuts. You could come in for some small stuff in the show room but it'll take you the whole day to get in and find your way out. In the end the stuff just isn't worth it.

Everything you want you will find. You will like the price too. It's a great experience seeing all the furniture in the showroom. I do wish it were easier to get to the warehouse when I already know the location.
