This place was a mad house!! It's better and way more worth it to just pay the $10 shipping. There were people everywhere. I couldn't walk 5 steps without someone walking out in front of me and almost tripping me over. It smelled awful, there weren't a lot of employees to help us and it took forever just to get from one story to the next. I suggest online shopping, looking at the dimensions and then ordering everything online. I think it's only $10 flat rate so order as much as you want and send back whatever you don't want. Will NEVER go here again. Worse than Costco on a Saturday.

IKEA is horribly busy on the weekend and even more so when it's hot outside. That being said, it wasn't too bad hanging out with the crowd to get a little lunch and do some light shopping/meandering. IKEA handles crowds well by encouraging people to shop in a counterclockwise path around the store--which is annoying if you just want to buy one thing but just fine if you are taking a walk in the AC for the afternoon. As for the food, the salmon plate was delicious, as always (for cafeteria food).

IKEA still has the most out of this world funkiest designs on Planet Earth but the prices are what draws all of us here! But if you're ever starving, do not be afraid to try their food like I was. It takes a long time to walk through IKEA so you're bound to get hungry and the food is tasty, super hot and fresh! It's set up like a school cafeteria, only for adults.

It's a fun place. Even if you don't need anything, you'll end up leaving with something. Good prices on some items and awesome food court. Cons: parking, crowded, not enough employees, and the restaurant is crowded as well.

In my mind, IKEA is the place to go for cheap, plain, DIY furniture. It has expansive selections for every room in the home. Also almost the entire store is self-service, so you have all the time you need to take your pick. It also has a restaurant and kid's playground for those in need. One negative thing is that the home delivery service is too slow. The line isn't really long but they spend dozens of minutes serving every customer so the line moves horribly slowly. If you need delivery, I suggest you either visit on a weekday, or first thing in the morning on weekends.
