Excellent place to take the kids in the winter, although there are outdoor science activities in the warmer months. A membership is a great value! Staff is generally very friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and cared for. Street parking can be a challenge, but there is parking across Summit in the Vistula garage that is usually $3-$5 per visit. There are also membership options that include free parking.

This is truly a fascinating place for young children up to adults! We spent hours there, and still didn't get through all of the interesting exhibits and activities. This museum has a lot of exhibits, as well as games and science demonstrations. Not only do they teach science, bit they also have a section on healthy eating and exercise, with activities there to help kids move and have fun at the same time! I was disappointed to see the area teaching yoga, though, as that has dark spiritual associations. As mentioned in the Q&A section, you can bring a sack lunch, but there is no area provided in the museum at which to eat it. If you walk just a little ways down a connected hallway, there is a public area which is very nice. The bathroom smelled bad, but otherwise was nice. If you plan to visit more than once (and especially if you come with a large group), their membership options are cost-effective. Overall, a fun, educational place to spend all day!

The museum is world class. Imaginative exhibits, entertaining for kids AND adults. Wonderful way to sneak in education. Unfortunately, the cafeteria is woefully understaffed with very slow workers. Bring your own family’s food or you’ll blow 1 hour of your museum time in line!

It is one of the best hands on museum type for kids. Have nice science shows explaining the key facts in a kids friendly way. But food court here is not good.
