I first visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and was really blown away by the delicious food and presentation so much so that I reserved a table for my birthday. We were originally told that since our group was large (over 10 people), the hostess could not confirm without manager approval. Two days later we still had not heard back regarding our reservation which they apparently forgot about all together. After confirming with the hostess, we were notified that our group would be placed at two tables next to each other. We assumed that the restaurant was going to be full so we understood. Much to my dismay, the tables that were reserved were on opposite sides with tables in between us. When I inquired if the other half of my group could be moved to the empty table right next to us we were declined. The reason being that parties over 10 are charged a fee. When we made the reservation we were never notified of a fee nor was it even offered. The restaurant, though during restaurant week, was not completely full and could easily have accommodated my large party on one side of the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and attentive but I have to say that not being able to share my birthday dinner with my entire group when it was completely feasible was very disappointing and for that I give this restaurant 3 stars. I do not recommend this restaurant for large parties at all.

This is OK. Somewhat overpriced. Basic menu, well-prepared. Not sure I like the visible kitchen preparation. Sesame balls were soggy, not crisp. Tea was good, but remember to remove the tea basket so tge tea does not get bitter. Waiter drove me nuts by using 'we', as in 'Are we ready to order now?' 'Are we,enjoying the pickles?'. Otherwise, the experience was fine, just not inspiring. Other Chinese restaurants are better.

This place had great XLB, but they could use more soup. Their hot chili oil is pretty good as well. I will be coming back here

this place has the best soup dumplings in the city, hands down. also, they have this singaporean chicken dish for lunch, that you cannot find anywhere else in chicago. highly recommend.
