Rockit Bar & Grill was always a favorite of mine when I lived in Chicago. Both the restaurant and upstairs bar were great. I have had several of their burgers here, and my biggest issue is always getting too stuffed to stay and drink afterwards. Rockit was always a hot spot for my friends and I just because it was easy to get to, but we kept coming back because of the food. You can't go wrong with their brunch, either. The omelettes are excellent. The upstairs bar is a relatively low key place to hang out, and there were always interesting people there. I honestly can't say I ever walked away from Rockit wishing I had gone somewhere else. It's just really good, reliable, and consistent. If I compared it to a baseball player, it's Robin Yount. Good at multiple things, and always came through when you needed it.

Their acoustic brunch was a happy surprise! We made a reservation for a Sunday morning so we could brunch & Football and it did not disappoint. Had a great little bloody mary bar and the food was delicious. They were great about letting us keep our table for most of the afternoon to watch some football!

Food was ok. Staff is ok, except one bartender who went out of her way to make sure we had a nice evening. It has a good location, but could use some improvement with the staff and the food.

Lobster burger is Awesome!. Had the lobster burger and I really enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were good but over hyped. Also tried the Mac & Cheese which was excellent.

Giving this 1 star because I can't give it 0. Management does not communicate expectations to the staff effectively. I called in advance of a Michigan game day asking if they take reservations in the lounge; the employee on the phone said they take no reservations but she suggested that I show up 1 hour before the game starts to get a seat in the lounge. The next day, I show up early for the game as told, and come to find out that the entire lounge is reserved and I wouldn't be able to watch the game. NOBODY at any point tried to accommodate me or provide an alternative solution to keep me as a customer. I received two different answers from two different people about the same situation. Everyone needs to be on the same page at any organization. Needless to say, I'm taking my game day dollars elsewhere.
