They never answer the phone. I had identity theft and have been waiting almost a year to even hear back from them. Got through to somebody in October they told me to wait till November and call back. Called back and got no response. Now it's January and they're going to expect me to file without ever even knowing the status of last year. They are claiming that I owe $19000 when somebody filed me as their spouse. I have never been married.
I had a question concerning if a daughter who has lived and worked outside the USA for all of 2013 if she had to notify or file income tax reports and all I got was a voice mail stating what optiions needed to file but did not answer my questiion. Was directed to website to get phone number and it was the SAME ONE I found in the telephone directory. It would be nice to talk to someone for a change. I am very disappointed in my answer which I did not get any!!!!
No one ever answers the phone, when you finally get through to the automated system they run you in circles then say they will transfer you to speak with a representative which never happens because it just says there are too many callers and says to go to their website and hangs up. If I could get the answer on the website I wouldn't be calling in to speak with someone.
Impossible to get a reponse. They send you a notice requiring action and then you're stressed because you can't contact anyone.
Extremely helpful, informative. They assisted me complicated tax returns filed, and their advise has proved solid, with no post-filling issues.
