I can't really rate it yet but Mr Thomas Cartmell sounds like a celebrity from all these reviews he sounds like quite a character.

After reading the reviews I was so nervous about going to this office! I figured we would be waiting forever and everyone was going to be rude. It was actually not bad at all! We arrived right before the office opened and waited with only 4 people ahead of us. The guy we worked with was beyond helpful and patient. I didn't catch his name, but he was in cubicle #3. It's a small area and you can hear the conversations going on in each cubicle area. Everyone there seemed very polite and easy to work with. If I ever need to go to the IRS again, I will definitely be going to the Bloomington office.

I called to make an appointment. I spoke to Missy T. She was on the phone with me for sometime. She was trying to help and come up with solutions to my problem. She did and I did not have to make the trip to the Bloomington Office. Thank you Missy. I really appreciated the your time and actions dealing with my tax problems.

Went to make HUGE 1040-ES payment. Was told I needed appt. No mention on this site that "by appt only". Was allowed in cuz it would be quick. Asked for receipt to validate date of payment and was told they don't make copes of checks. I wish I could give a rating below 0! Our government $$ at work.
