Story

The Iowa City Ambulatory Surgical Center is a multi-specialty, state of the art surgical facility providing quality outpatient surgical services. The center established in 2008 currently performs approximately 5,200 surgical procedures per year. Most patients who do not require specialized hospital treatment or overnight observation can safely have their outpatient surgical procedure completed at the Iowa City ASC.

The Iowa City ASC is a leader in outpatient surgery. Our processes and quality measures ensure that our center functions in the most efficient, high quality manner. Our clinical team of nurses, surgeons and anesthesia providers view each patient as a unique individual. Our front office staff will assure that you are cared for as soon as you walk in the door, with expedicious registration and answers to any of your insurance and payment questions. Our focus is to make you comfortable while providing strong clinical care in a compassionate manner. We realize that you are here to have a procedure, but also want you to recover in a manner appropriate to you. Your recovery will be based on your individual needs so that you can go home in a timely and safe manner after your procedure.
