1st time here and the young lady was very helpful and pleasant this morning. I ordered the jerk chicken. It is excellent it taste like it was freshly made this morning. Food is simply delicious!

It is a hole-in-the-wall but the best place for authentic Jamaican food. It is a carry-out only kitchen inside a small store that sells authentic/imported Jamaican goods. If your looking for a little better dining experience their Rockville location is better (across from MC). Been going here for years! On some occasions don't expect to be in and out, they are island folk and live life on island time.. if you get my drift.

Ummm...seriously? This was the worst!!!! The jerk chicken was dry, old, bland and just terrible. I was more like chicken jerky!! It also had an aftertaste/smell of bad rotten meat. I can't believe I spent $25 for 2 platters that came out of huge food warmers! It is clear that the food was days old as I came in before noon and the food looked like it had been sitting out overnight. The oxtail was also bland with small pieces and the rice mushy. I had to throw it all out!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I wish I could give NO stars.....BUYER BE WARE

It's a lil hidden so it's so popular from word of mouth N' their prepared food is BANGIN'!!!! MY FAVORITES...CURRIED CHICKEN & JERK CHICKEN...& VERY VERY GENEROUS PORTIONS!!! MY TAKE OUT CONTAINER WAS REALLY HEAVY N HAD DINNER FOR 2 NIGHTS! FOR MY BIG CONTAINER OF CURRIED CHICKEN OVER RICE N PEAS W/ PLANTAINS WAS $10.50
