Our favorite place to stay in this area. Yes it's dated and needs some work, yes they make you clean the condo before you leave, yes the lost key policy is excessive...my suggestion to everyone is to not lose the keys. The resort gulf views are unmatched. Close to everything well worth the price. Get to know the staff they warm up if you treat them nicely.

Been coming here for years. Staff is wonderful..condos are clean and up to date. Many things to do in the area. We are owners of a week but will rent a unit when we come down on a different week.

Home feeling. Very family originated. Outstanding  staff! We have coming here for a few years now. You won't find a better value.

I've been coming here since the late 80s with family and friends and it's exactly what I love for a beach vacation. The area is laid back but there's plenty of things to do since John's Pass and several shopping malls of various types are nearby. There's a good bunch of places to eat within walking distance. 

The facility is well managed and in good repair. The units are decorated adequately and fully equipped including beach towels. The pool is amazing and the views of the beach are top notch. The beach in the area has lovely sea oats and dunes for beautiful sunset shots. I often see dolphins playing in the waters in front of the condo. There is a night security guard which is a bonus. It keeps strangers out of the parking and common areas. 

The penthouse could sleep 6 adults (master has a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 full size beds) and the sofa could pull out to handle several small children. The mattresses are very firm. The bathrooms are very good sized. The patios are nice and are furnished with traditional strap type chairs, and a table and some larger units have a chaise lounge. 

My only suggestion is that you might bring your own sheets. I'm a self proclaimed sheet snob and the linens here are very clean but not very soft. My husband also prefers his Charmin 🤔😂 but you shouldn't need to bring any other basics.

This is a very reliable property and is a value for what you get. Yes, I admit that there could be a bit of sprucing up but it isn't anything that detracts from your vacation experience since the value and comfort are so high.

I've stayed at Jamaican on the Gulf for 17 years now, almost yearly. Service is always impeccable and the rooms are always clean. Love the location and view of the beach/gulf. The staff are friendly and accomadating. The pool and hot tub are well taken of. Easy walking access to most of the night life along the beach and main strip of Treasure Island. If you want a solid place to stay and enjoy the area, Jamaican is the place to check out.
