This is our first time stopping by for lunch, my husband and I have been driving thru the same road for years and always wondered about the food.
We have always had bad experience with trying out places to eat as there is always an issue with the experience and it is very rare when we get 5 star service.
As we walked in they asked if we wanted breakfast or lunch,??? I was puzzled because we have never eaten there and didn't even think they had separate menus. We were then given both menus, which are not overwhelming which is always good for me because it makes it easier to decide. I went with New York steak and eggs and my husband had corned beef hash breakfast. I will say it was very very good.  The server was very nice and friendly, I am sorry I never looked or asked for her name. It says a lot of a business when employees have this grate attitude that she has, and is for sure what customers want to experience. Great food, service, cleanliness all of that we experienced today. 
Next time I will have a lighter lunch to be able to enjoy their home made Apple pie which was displayed as you walk in and it looks AMAZING.

Delicious food and really friendly service. My only qualm is that their outdoor seating is technically part of their bar, so you can't sit there unless you have your drivers license and are 21. This means no kids. I had to drive home and grab my ID. I wish they would change this and make Jay Berry's more family friendly.

My go to breakfast place. Food and service is always good. Mainly recommend for breakfast I’m not to keen on their lunch and dinner options.

Food was good but i found a hair in my food.  I told the waitress who was near me.  She didn't say a word and just took the hair and walked away.  My bill came and still nothing was said to me.  Finally,  after i paid,  my waitress  (not the one who took the hair) asked if i wanted a box for my food.  I said no,  that's the part the hair was in.  She shockingly said she had no idea and that she was sorry but still no refund was offered.  Oh well.

Been driving by this place for over 15 years and finally stopped in. Should have came here about 14 years and 364 days ago. What was I missing? Good comfort food and great service
