The food and pastries here are stellar! The hardest part of visiting is choosing what to get, but the ladies behind the counter are very helpful in explaining what things are and how they are made. There may be a line when you walk in, but it moves fast and it is so worth the wait. I visit here EVERY time I'm in the area.

I am German and when I heard that we have a German Bakery in town I had to try it of course. So as German I can say that it really is authentic German food just like back home. They are always super busy so you will have to wait a little bit but that is ok I think. However I have a little constructive critic for the owners. Maybe something to take in consideration?? Some improvements. The dining area is very uncomfortable. The way the tables are placed makes you feel like you are sitting in a chow hall. It is a great location and has lots of potential. I would recommend to hire a interior designer. I think that would bring you even more business in the long run. The opening hours should be extended as well. Then of course there is not enough parking but I am aware that this is nothing really they can do about it. I also think they should have servers, like that you would cut down that huge line that they always have in at least half. Because half of the people want to eat there including myself. I hope the business will continue to grow and will make some improvements throughout the years.

Great spot on the island! They do a great job of putting their own spin on traditional German food. Delicious breakfast! Get there early for best selection. There's also a solid lunch and dinner menu. Definitely worth a stop if you're on the island!

A MUST to experience for a FAST, DELICIOUS 😍😋 Breakfast!!! My husband & I both had the AWESOME Tomato 🍅 & Ham 🍗 Quiche​ 🥚 🥘 with CREAMY Ricotta Cheese 🍚 filling; the Pretzel Crust 🥖 was DELICIOUS!!! The FRESH German 🇩🇪 Apple 🍏Strudel 🥐 was FABULOUS; I should of GOT MORE then one piece to take back to the hotel!!! 🍽️ 🍴We will definitely BE BACK AGAIN to try Lunch & Dinner on our next costal vacation. 😘💕🤣

This place is awesome. Wish it was closer to home. I'll definitely make it a must visit on my next trip to Corpus Christie.
