Went to the Sephora department where I received help with the products I needed. Tina and Andrea were so nice. Its nice to get good customer service at the JC Penney First & Main store.

Horrible customer service, managers were downright rude which is probably why the employees are rude as well. I heard 2 shoplifters whispering and ripping off tags when I was changing in the fitting room, mind you that no employee was even in the fitting room so basically it is just an empty space with no cameras! I was terrified that these shoplifters would come into my dressing room to my steal stuff! I tried to find a Worthington trousers and 3 employees passed me while one was on their phone. I finally found one that looked approachable and talked to her. I find out, she works in shoes so she didn't know what she was doing! She didn't even call on her walkie for an associate. When I checked out, the cashier didn't look at me in the eye and threw my clothes in the bag. I told her I didn't even want it anymore and left. Worst store I have ever shopped in.

Seems people only enjoy reviewing when the service is bad. Don't let these grumpy people fool you, the service is excellent! I have seen a lot of great deals with this company, and the employees make the shopping experience pleasant. I've never had a problem here. I've seen grown adults lose their temper here and many other places in this area however, and it's just embarrassing. Don't make yourself look even worse by leaving a petty review on a fine store for the world to see. Thanks JCP, I'll be back soon!

I have spent the past three hours trying to get ahold of someone at the store regarding an online order to pick up in the store, no one answers any phone in any department!! 😡🤬 This has got to be the worst store ever! I live fairly close to it & I’ve been into this Sephora and I know that it has sufficient staff  I mean there has to be at least four people working there!! 

So the fact that they choose to ignore their phones is really annoying. Literally I have been calling all day, for hours  I even tried the salon, tried appliances & tried every single department! even the operator will not answer horrible just absolutely horrible. if I were a thief I would go to this store.  I bet their loss ratio is horrible given the impression I get from just trying to call them and other peoples reviews about lack of staff.....
