This is one of the remaining anchor stores in Regency Square. This store is rarely crowded  but has a good selection of all products that a J C Penney carries. Nice shopping in a large department store that's not packed with people. As of early 2017, household appliances were added to their merchandise line.

Customer service is non existent, employees don't even know how to access internet, pathetic! Employee walked away from register instead of ringing me up and made me wait on the other register to free up

This place is Horrible! I am currently here waiting for 30 minutes to pick up an online order that never showed ad received in their system.  The nice girl at the register caked for a manager 3 times over the loud speaker in shoes and a manager has yet to show up.  I can't take my merchandise because they can't generate a receipt because the system didn't recognize I have a package. I am forced to take this without a receipt and can't return it. But now I was just notified,  if I walk out the door with the merchandise there will be no record of it and it will technically be stealing.  Never come here! NEVER!  By the way 45 minutes and still no manager at the shoe department to assist

Very huge disappointment. I went in to get highlights and the older gentleman brings out a color swatch.  I asked for a honey blonde. No brazzy tones or red. He shows me a strawberry color. I said no nothing with red. He proceeded to tell me I have a lot of gray and it doesn't have pigment and it's hard to make it blonde.  I am a hair dresser as well and I stated you can add blonde to the gray  he went back to back room and on his way he mumbled she's not gonna be happy with nothing.  I heard him slam the book down. I asked another
Stylist if he was good with color and her response was oh yes he's just flakey.  He came back and started telling me that he can not pull my hair through a cap that he only does foil.   Well for starters I have a real short hair style. Kinda hard to foil that.  I ripped off the cape and walked
Out!!!      Well welcome to Richmond jcpenney hair salon.  Never going back and one star was to much to give

I called this location to verify they had a particular shoe. The phone system is horrible. The music that was playing in the store was playing on the phone while I was on the phone with the associate. She nor the manager could hear me because of the malfunctioning phone system.
