This store is permanently closed. It was my favorite place to shop for clothes. If you would like to help prevent this from happening to other clothing stores in this town please try to shop at them instead of online ordering. If you would still like to shop Jcpenney please shop at the one in Tyler or Palestine. Online shopping is good but it is taking away jobs. And sometimes it is better to feel the fabric and try on the clothes first.

First time in this store and I found a lots of good buys.. I was in the area and I knew I could find a good piece of jewelry for my granddaughter.  The staff was very friendly and helpful. I walked out with a necklace and a bracelet for my favorite girl..

I would like to commend 2 employees of the JC Penney store in Athens, Texas.  Brenda Price and Mary Baldwin are always pleasant, friendly and helpful.  These ladies go the extra mile for the customer and JC Penney should be proud to have such outstanding people in their employ.
