Staff is friendly. But some customers can be  very nasty because of few cashiers at the checkout counter and the fact another customer has a lot of items to scan and that results in a long line! If you don't keep it cool, you'll unleash your inner rabid dog 👊 on them.

Ms. Shelly slayed my sister hair she took her time suggest products that will help our hair. I highly recommend going to see her or the lovely lady with glasses in the chair in front of her .I didn't caught her name. They listen to their clients needs and wants .Very professional me and my sister will be back . KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LADIES👏

Without a doubt the worst JC Penney's I've been to. All I wanted to do was make an online return, and unfortunately you can't do that at the "customer service" desk aka where you make regular returns. But of course there's no sign indicating that. So after waiting for 20 minutes in a long line, I was told to go to a different customer service desk and wait there. I waited there for another 10 minutes since only 1 register was open, and then the cashier got into a somewhat heated exchange with one of the customers for some reason; that was pretty much the last straw for me. Mind you this was a pretty busy weekend and there was a long line of customers in front of and behind me, but the cashier couldn't care less. There's a reason big box stores aren't able to compete nowadays. 

Tl;Dr: went in for a return, waited 30+ minutes, walked out without even completing the return.

I wish I could give 1/2 a star ...made a purchase online for same day pick up on a Wednesday got my order confirmation and then it all went to hell...It's now Saturday and after calling at least twice a day for three days with only once getting an actual human to answer  and no one can tell me what has happened to my order. The only reason I can agree on the 1/2 star is the girl at the salon at least tried to help find someone to answer me. I even tried customer service online and when they got someone to answer they were told the person who handles online orders had gone home ...they need to be closed down ..I give up
