Overall has been a good experience - EXCEPT: I was in the final stages of my slate floor installation on Monday, 01/02, and had a concern about the grout haze (didn't seem to be coming off, and the tile looked bad).  I called the Woodbury store (where I bought the tile and supplies), and the woman who answered asked if they could call me back.  She said they were very busy.  I told her that this was an urgent issue, and that I needed to hear from someone soon.  She stated that they would TRY to have someone call me back.  I gave her my number, but no one ever called back.  Apparently new customers are more important than customers they have already received the money from.

WORST customer experience ever. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need reliable customer service and delivery dates. Placed an order on Monday with work starting on Friday. Was told by a very self assured sales person (after I got one to help me) that yep, absolutely no problem, that will be here tomorrow for you. Obviously Tuesday came, no tile - it will be here tomorrow - Wednesday came, no tile. I assured him I needed to know if my tile would not be in by Friday as I'd have to make changes to the work plan - and was told absolutely it will be here by 4 pm Thursday. Well obviously its 4:25 on Thursday, and the tile is not there. Apparently the "trucks are running late" but it will be there at 7 am - he "guarantees it"...sure.

I am searching the internet to see if there are any other distributors of this particular tile, as I would like to not support this business..

If you are looking for sub par service that over promises and under delivers - this team can help you out.

They did not have nearly as many options to look at for the size of the building that they have. Tons of natural stone looking tile, but barely anything modern looking. The main reason for 3 stars though would be in terms of service. It took a very long time before my wife and I were even approached by an associate. We asked the guy what Travertine meant and he looked at us like we were stupid and said "It's a type of tile." Yea... we could surmise that Travertine is a type of tile. What makes it different than other types of tile? He was just not helpful and seemed very smug.
