I got such great deals I went back the next day to take part in additional savings.... But the place was a mad house. Nothing is organized and you need free hands to dig. Seriously. Also I by nature run cold and both days It was so hot I was getting irritated I just had to get out of there. I'll go again but I'll bring reinforcements with me to help hold what im buying so I can dig through the piles of chaos.

Due to the high population in the area, this JCPenney in particular should have plenty personnel working, specially during the holidays!!! It took me almost 30 min waiting in line ready to pay!! Also, the store was trashed. Boot boxes were empty, toys all over the floor. I found one boot in the girls section and the other boot in the adult section! Unbelievable! What I did like though, was all the sales going on! Please hire more people!!

I was given a gift card for Christmas and place an order online for a pair of boots to be delivered to the store. Ordered was placed 01-01. I was informed 2 days later it was back ordered, no option to cancel. 01-05 I checked the status and it said shipped, I was not notified. No further updates were sent. No answer on the phone every time that I tried to call the store to check on it. It is Jan 12 and I have just made my second trip to the store to see if my boots have arrived because I can not get anyone to answer the phone. Still no boots. The store is extremely disorganized and messy. The 2 stars were only given because the employees were very friendly the 2 times I've gone into the store to try to get my boots, and they did try to locate my purchase. This is the first time I have  purchased anything from JC Penney in over 10 years and I'm pretty sure it will be the last.  It's just a shame their friendly employees, like Yesenia, are wasting their time at this bottom feeder company when I'm sure they could be a valued employee at a better store. I will stick to other department stores.

Went to exchange a jacket for a different size and the store is a mess. They were showing one in the system but were not able to find it due to everything being everywhere. The cashier was very nice and patient she helped me look for it and she asked the store manager if she could return it and order it online to be shipped to the store but since I didn’t have my credit card handy the store manager said there was nothing she could do and walked away. The store manager has no leadership skills or customer service skills. I will not be going back to JCP since it’s hard to find wha you’re looking for.
