I have been taking all of my vehicles to Jensen since 2008 and I have never had anything but professionalism at the Trumbull shop. All of my cars were taken care of in a reasonable fashion for a reasonable price..not sure what the issue here is on Google but don't be swayed by negative reviews. Give them a try for yoursel!

My husband and I were in Monroe visiting my mother-in-law for Christmas. While stooping at Trumbull Mall our truck broke down. This truck was driven from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Monroe and would not crank up after leaving a mall and being 45 minutes away from our destination. JENSEN knew that we were from out of town and took advantage of my husband and I the best they could. We were charged three times the amount for the part and we also found a leaking hose (4 inch rubber hose that carried radiator fluid) right on top of the engine, which they had to see but did not replace. I'm sickened and disgusted at how this businesses took advantage of us. I picked this place because of the ratings and I was told by several other auto repair businesses that this place would do a good job. I regret taking my truck there. We were charged almost $1300. I have the receipt but cannot post a picture with my review or I would have.

I am the owner and recently was told about the negative responses on google. We strive to meet all customer expectations. I apologize if there are a few people that felt they were not treated fairly. I am always available to correct the situation and do my best to resolve upset customer concerns. The response here about the prejudice I find hard to believe as we have a very diverse group of customers, that are pleased with our services. We try our best to to treat people as we are treated. As far as pricing we compare our prices and service regularly to quality dealership work and strive to meet customer needs. We will always price match for tires or service. If anyone feels there is an issue they can contact me directly at I will do my best to rectify the situation.

It defies logic that a business owner would be unnecessarily abrasive and argumentative with someone trying to spend money at their establishment. I've experienced this firsthand and due to Eddie's bad attitude they have lost me as a customer forever.

So sorry you had to experience something like that, very uncalled for . On Jensen's Facebook page they quote "putting the customer first and fixing the problem in a professional and timely manner." What they meant to say is if you're white you're entitled to all these promises. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts, but when it comes to owning a business being professional is key. Number one rule never turn down people who are willing to help your business grow. It is never okay to yell and chase down a customer because they are black.
