Just have to share that I got fantastic service on my gas fireplace. They called ahead to let me know they'd be there in 30 minutes (took about 40). The repair man was super friendly and was able to fix two leaks without needing to order new parts. He was also able to "tune" it up to make the flame look more impressive, and shared with me the issues in reasonable technical terms without the old "it was installed wrong, we have to rip it all out and start over." Total $254 was fair considering how good it looks and works now. I'll recommend based on that

If I could give no stars, I would. I called to schedule an inspection of my gas fireplace. We agreed on a date and a 4 hour window. I took off work to be home and wait. 3 hours into the window, I called to check the status. They told me that whoever gave me that time frame was wrong because they "don't schedule times for fireplace inspections". Well, someone did, so they need to honor that. But no. So I asked when someone would be here, they couldn't tell me. They CLAIM their system was down all morning and couldn't get to the information to call me and tell me they wouldn't be here. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule, what's the purpose of rescheduling and wasting another day off work to wait for HOURS? And the irony? The advertisement when they put you on hold talks all about professionalism and customer empathy! What a joke! Mika said she would call back when she had an approximate time someone would be here, but couldn't even tell me when she would call me back.

Had them fix three toilet flappers and a leaking bathtub faucet and guess what his fat ass didnt put the part that goes on the bathroom wall correctly and lost one of the screws. I didnt know until two days later .. you cant get quality service these days .. 😡 lets say im still waiting since 9 am for them to correct the problem and guess what nobody showed up

I would give no stars if that were an option, because they deserve none. My mother had a leaking air conditioning unit and they came out and fixed it immediately. Then she had a hot water heater issue and they came out immediately and fixed that. We were impressed. So much so my mother immediately got a service contract and had them come out and do the fall checked.all she paid over $1000 dollars in less than four days for the hot water heater and the maintenance service (fall check). We were scheduled for 8-10. No one showed up until 2 that afternoon. The technician said he had us down from 11-2. I informed him that was not what we agreed to because I stay home to be here for my mother as I work in the afternoon and it was his luck I was off or I would have already been gone.Well, as luck has it the air conditioner broke. She called Jiffy. They couldn’t come when she called because their gas cards weren’t working the associate said there wasn’t enough gas to get to where we live. We are about an hour and a half from Hyattsville. So we were scheduled for the next day, first thing in the morning. At noon still no one had arrived. Needless to say, we called Jiffy. Jaime answered when I called and was rude, she kept cutting me off before I could tell her what the problem was. Then I asked for the manager. She cut me off repeatedly and wouldn’t let me explain what the problem was. We requested some of our money back and was placed on hold and no one came back after 10 minutes of course we hung up. I asked for the owners name and number and she said she would have him call me. Still waiting.... This company has bad customer service associates, a horrible scheduler because they never get it right, they do not appreciate ones business as I can see and unless there are people replaced that are rude like Jaime and her manager Ellen, I will ensure my mother never uses them and I will inform everyone of their horrible customer service. Unfortunately the people you hire are a reflection of you and your company. I work in customer service and probably wouldn’t have a job if I acted as these two unprofessional women did.

We have had to have our water lines snaked because of tree roots every four years or so since 2003. On January 19 (Friday evening) we found water backing up out of our basement drain again. We reduced water use and looked for a plumber to come on January 22 (Monday). The licensed plumber who came from Jiffy today cleared the pipes as well as they can be cleared, located the fissure, documented that it is on the county property where WSSC's main line runs, marked the spot where the line is broken and filed a report with WSSC. He told us that if *we* called WSSC they'd tell us to get a plumber but *his* report has to be taken seriously. This is exactly the kind of professional service we have been needing for this problem.
