Got a really nice lamp for a really nice discount and the lady in the store helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Overall it was a very plesant experience. I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

We purchased a wall-bed from Jim Sears, and we had problems from the start. They installed the bed with a mattress that was too large (the wall bed would not close). They did finally replace the mattress, but it slides down when the bed is closed.

When we moved, we made arrangements (over a month in advance) for Jim Sears to disassemble the wall-bed (because they are trained experts). They failed to show up at all, did not call us, and will not answer their phone.

Moving day came, and we had to try to disassemble it ourselves. I would avoid this company. The furniture they offer is usually available direct from the manufacturers, and their customer service is bad.

Going out of Business sale?  OK, I check it out only to find a price on a tennessee mfg-ed sofa tagged $500 over the manufacture's suggested retail (went to their website to verify).  

So if I can buy it for $500 less under the presumption it is a "Going out of Business" sale, I am fat, dumb and happy, right?  Wrong......This is deceptive marketing akin to thievery, a fraud and a con...... I am paying retail, no discount! 

Times are tough for everyone and television commercials are expensive.  Desperate times require desperate measures.

CAVEAT EMPTOR citizens!
