Fantastic customer service, friendly staff, and knowledgeable mechanics. I was passing through and needed an oil change. They were able to schedule me in the same day and the oil change was completed quickly. They made sure to verify my address and phone number, which hadn't been updated in over two years. I'm extremely satisfied with my experience here and wished that I lived closer so I could choose this dealership for future services and purchases.

If I could give 0 stars I would. To say the experience was a disappointing cliche of car dealership tactics would be correct. This is a brief description. We located a truck we wanted in their inventory, approx $60k. Contacted the dealer online, got a young salesperson who called back whose only interest was having us 'come in right away'. Politely told him no thanks, this is our trade, the condition, mileage - asked if he could provide an approximate trade in value (subject to inspection, of course), and a sale price for the truck. To show we were serious we filled out there online credit application (Our scores are in the mid 800's). After that the fiasco began, we had to call and email over 5 times in three days to see if they even acknowledged our credit app and could they simply provide a quote....no call backs other than to say we had to come in right away to negotiate, finally after calling the new sales mgr (an arrogant f***), we got a quote via email. It was about $5k different than what the salesman quoted over the phone that got us to fill out there credit application in the first place. All we got from the sales mgr was that the young guy salesperson was just 'trying to make a sale' and we really can't fault him for that. We ended up purchasing from another dealer who got the truck from the John Elway lot. It was for less than the original quote from the John Elway schmucks and was no hassle and a pleasurable experience. Follow up; so three weeks later we received credit denial letters from John Elway saying they couldn't offer any type of financing (might add we were putting 50% down payment). I guess they did this to additionally ding our credit scores and make it seem to corporate like they just couldn't make the sale despite their 'best efforts'. Do business with this dealership at your own risk.

While I had heard great things about John Elway, my experience was disappointing to say the least. I found a used vehicle in Elway's online inventory, filled out the online interest form, and was promptly contacted by two members of the staff. While they were prompt and accommodating of my busy schedule, that is unfortunately where any positives end. I test drove the car I inquired about, and loved it, so I went in to discuss financing and see where the numbers were at. I was insulted to see that I was only being offered $300 for my trade, when I had been offered five times that at other dealerships. They also were unwilling to budge on the price, stating that they were already taking a loss on the vehicle, which I know was simply not true. They also tried to lower my monthly payment by extending the term of the loan, which when interest is accounted for, would have cost me much more in the long run. I did not buy that day, and ended up going home, expecting them to call back within a few days. They did, and were somehow able to offer me another $500 for my trade, which was better, albeit still insulting (and also made me wonder why they couldn't have just offered the full amount to begin with). I declined, mainly due to the fact that they were still firm on their price. I was then offered another vehicle that I was not in the market for because it was closer to the price I was offering to pay for the first vehicle. Since then, I have called and written multiple emails, trying to see where they were at (and hopefully give them another chance to "earn my business" as they like to say), but have not yet gotten a single response, and it has now been a week. I am not the average buyer, I am well researched, and have family that works in the industry that have helped me through the process. I know that the vehicle I am interested in has been sitting on the lot for a lot longer than most dealers would like, and I know what I'm offering is a fair compromise, but the staff at Elway seems as if they would rather let that vehicle sit on the lot for another month to maybe squeeze another $1,500 out of someone else (which is spare change compared to what I know they would already be making on the vehicle). Throughout the process, I didn't feel as if I was being taken seriously, and I am not going to be taken advantage of. I was hopeful about doing business with John Elway, but ultimately, I was unfortunately let down.

I wish I could give 0 stars so badly. The service department of this dealership is the worst I have ever encountered. It is a struggle to speak with somebody who actually knows what they are talking about, even if you physically come into the store. Not to mention the lack of communication to customers regarding repairs on their vehicle. If you promise to call your customer later that day, call them later that day. If you aren’t going to do it, don’t say you will. It’s not hard to just be honest and help your customers. I have not personally had a bad experience with the sales side, but looking through the other reviews, I think it says a lot about the character of the manager/owner by him only acknowledging the comments that are positive ones, and rarely responding to reviews that express any sort of negativity. There are even potential customers who have shared their story that are still willing to give this dealership a chance. Those comments express that they have never been contacted so this dealership could “earn their business.” 🙄

Recently purchased a vehicle from the dealership in Greeley CO. Ryan Stepisnik was my salesman. I called him after looking through their inventory on the web, and had found a vehicle, expressed my interest in purchasing the Jeep later that afternoon/evening. After sending them my credit information (not perfect), we set up a time for a test drive and I was told the jeep would be pulled from the front lot and be ready upon my arrival ( 5 or so hours later). Come to find it was when I arrived in Greeley from Silverthorne later that day. Ryan was great to work with throughout the process of laying out my options for purchasing a car that fit my needs. After looking at another vehicle I decided to purchase the Jeep i originally had my eyes on. Long story short, the representation, service, and overall customer care seemed to be on point. Also Joe, in their finance department did a good job of explaining everything thoroughly and maintaining a good feel of letting you know what was available while not trying to sell you the lot. I would recommend considering this dealer if you are in the market for a vehicle and they have one on the lot that fits the bill. Chances are good!
