The only problem with this park is the limited parking. Once parked this is a gateway to the mountains. There is a easy trail, suitable for kids, running alongside the river. Or head off to the more serious trails. Friendly park staff. I keep going back here again and again.

Good hike to rainbow falls. Well-marked and easy to follow. Visitor center doesn't have much. Parking is a pain but definitely go, you will not be disappointed!

A great place to start out an adventure. Extremely helpful park rangers. From this starting point  you can just follow the long trail or follow off on one of it's many beautiful tangents.

Awesome park with a lot to see and photograph. My only complaint is parking, it's been bad since I can remember and they could easily fix it but haven't. Plan on waiting to get in, don't even attempt during peak season.

Love this park, today February 1 bathrooms were open but no lights or water, so need to know this before you go!
