The lady who gave us the tour was very sweet and acknowledged even though she had just started. I had a lot of fun and the site was very interesting. I can't believe the stories she told us, that all those Indians got decapitated like that was so horrible.

A nice play for a day trip.  Lots of Waterfall options are within a short drive from here.  Easy to access and higher in the hills means lower temperatures during the hot months.

Beautiful place to visit!  The falls are awesome and the lady at the post was very helpful!

Stopped by on way home. Wanted to see another waterfall, followed the signs (very few) for nearly 40 minutes winding up and down, just to come to a road, maybe 1 hundred yards up from the park entrance was the ACTUAL entrance to the waterfall path. Wasted all that time due to no information about the waterfall being technically outside of this area. Was so tired, we didn't even see the waterfall. I didn't want to leave our car so far away just to go on another 30 minutes hike down to the waterfall. Thanks Oconee for the info, by the way...there was plenty of places.to put a sign or information regarding that.
