Very disappointed of the customer service and timely delivery, would not recommend or shop at this place, ever! Update: I was asked to explain more so here it is. We selected a cal king bedroom set for us and full bedroom set for our daughter (about $3800 total after the discount), we put the down payment and everything. We were promised the furniture in 3 weeks at the latest, 4 weeks went buy and we haven’t heard anything so I called to see what’s going on and was told they are waiting for more parts and was promised I will get it in a week. Another week passed and I had to call and ask again and was told the next day they will call me to set delivery, they didn’t, I had to call again and at this point I was getting runaround since I was asking for the manager but was told he just left etc. & the delivery didn’t happen again. The next day after calling again I was told the delivery truck is broken so they will need to use another JR location’s truck and it will take more time. So after all this calls and 3 days of waiting on them to deliver the furniture and all this lies and excuses they gave me I was done. I called the store one last time and told them that they can keep all the furniture and I will spend my money elsewhere, suddenly I got a call from the manager that I was trying to speak with in the last 3 days offering me to get the delivery right away and to accept $200 store credit on top of that. You guess what I did? Well I told him that I don’t need that furniture anymore even if it’s free and he can shove that $200 store credit up his ass! It was very surprising to me that this store didn’t want my business so I went elsewhere. I also had to call my credit card to get my down payment back (because they would not return my down payment)and report this place as fraud, I also called Wells Fargo to close the finance account they opened in my name. My experience with this place should be rated negative 5 stars but too bad 1 star is the lowest option.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Instead I recommend the Furniture Shack in Portland. Great service and quality products. JR Furniture on the other hand... Absolutely worst experience I have ever had. I ordered a table and was told they would call me once it was in stock (about two weeks). Four weeks later I called them, and they said it was in stock and ready for delivery. I was confused as to why it was in stock but no one informed me. They assured me they called and left a message (my phone showed no records of a missed call or message from them). Had I never called, it never would have been delivered. Finally, when it was delivered, the table was cracked in multiple places. I called less than an hour after it was delivered asking for a new table. It is THREE MONTHS later and they have not once called nor have they delivered me a new table. Since it seems as if their employees are incapable of using a telephone to contact customers, I have had to call multiple times wondering where my table is. Each time I was told a different excuse as to why I did not have my table yet. When asked for a refund, or discount they said they could not do that. Do not waste your money on this place.

If I could have left 0 I would have. This has been the absolute worst furniture buying experience I've ever had. The only redeeming part of this was the sales girl how had helped me originally, but it appears no one actually talks to them from other parts of the company. I was told that I would receive my order for a new bedroom set within 1-2 weeks after ordering it. 3 weeks later after not hearing a word from them I contacted their rep. They informed me that the shipment was in their warehouse and could be delivered the next day. The rep asked if he could call me back to arrange a time. Once the rep called me back it wasn't to inform me of a time but it was to inform me that one of my night stands has been lost and was wondering if that piece could be delivered the following week. I said yes since it had already been so long since my original order had been placed. The following morning realizing no time had been arranged I called them back to see what time they would be there. I was told 2-4 so I arranged to work from home at that time. At 4:15pm the delivery personal called me asking for my address, it was another hour before they finally showed up. When they got here they said it was just for a drop off even though I paid for set up. When I said they could just take the entire thing back and give me my money back they decided it was ok to set it up. 2 weeks after that awful experience I still hadn't heard about my missing night stand....so again I called them back. Surprise the night stand was there and they could deliver it the next day between 4-5. Hey So this time my husband waited at home to receive it. At 7:30pm that night I received a text saying they were scheduled to deliver it tomorrow between 1-3!!!!!!! The text was filled with laughing smiley faces as well. So unprofessional. What you pay for is NOT worth their awful delivery and non-existent communication. Will NEVER buy anything from here ever again

Lovely furniture for sale, pricy but who isn't these days. Salesman are willing to make deals and are nice. We visited once, shopped around a few more places and ended up back to buy living room furniture because JR had the best deal for quality pieces. We will most likely be back when ready for more items.

Jim was a very helpful and knowledgeable. We bought a sectional couch. It was a very nice couch for an excellent price. We are very happy a year later and would certainly purchase from JR again.
