Julep’s was named one of Richmond’s “Top Seven Sensations” by Richmond Magazine. The professional and friendly staff, elegant atmosphere and charm of this historic building create a hospitable setting as you savor a fresh mix of flavor that captures the flare of Atlanta, Charleston, New Orleans and Savannah.

Looking to dazzle clients or friends? Julep’s is available for large dinner parties, luncheons and receptions. The gorgeous back dining room can accommodate up to 50 for a sit down dinner or luncheon, or the entire restaurant is available for receptions of up to 125 guests.

We loved this place! Looks like a nice little neighborhood hangout, with the inviting barr in the front. But we came for dinner, and we had some nice cocktails to start, then some delicious fried green tomatoes for appetizers. I got the roasted cauliflower for an entree. Excellent! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. A very nice experience.

Eaten here a couple of times. Once at the old location and now at the newer location. Food is always enjoyable. I thought the atmosphere was better at the older location. The service is pretty attentive. My only negative was that I wanted an appetizer that was from the "bar" menu but apparently I wasn't allowed to have that while I was sitting down dining...strange. it's not like there's two separate kitchens.

What we loved most about this restaurant was the quality of excellent customer service we received. We dined upstairs our waiter in our opinion is what made our experience. We had questions he answered, he was friendly, polite, & exceeded our expectations. What he recommended due to our food restrictions were good choices from cocktails, appetizers, salads, main course & the dessert banana fosters made in front of us tasted great.

Very pleasantly surprised. Delicious meal with impeccable service. Went with a big group and everyone loved it. The only thing I would change is the bananas fosters...the hard cookie seemed out of place.
