Story

K & L Hardware and Plumbing has been family owned and operated since 1977. Kathy and Loren Harris left Chicago, Illinois and came to Southern California in search of financial opportunity and a warmer climate. Stumbling upon what was once Hudson Hardware on Baseline in San Bernardino, an agreement was made, and K & L Hardware was born. Shortly thereafter, Loren's parents Florence and Abraham Harris sold their wholesale supply in Chicago to join their son and daughter in growing their business. Through the years the business has seen its ups and downs, but throughout it all it still thrives as a mom and pop hardware store. Now joined by their sons, Aaron and Brian Harris, the business is growing faster than ever and is still committed to its promise of individual attention and knowledgeable customer service.
