Story

Since 1991, our vision for KABUKI Japanese Restaurant has been to create high-energy, family-friendly and value-oriented Japanese restaurants. It is our everyday mission to deliver quality and freshness, great service, clean restaurants and value to our guests. In a word: fantastic. I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. 

I walked through a fairly busy food court and thought I'd probably be waiting for a while to sit down, but it was a bigger building than I expected and they were able to sit me immediately. 

I ordered the cilantro albacore roll based largely off reviews and loved it. It comes with this amazing sauce that really makes the dish. 

The rising Phoenix was also very tasty. I ordered it off a special menu, but would think it deserves a spot on their regular menu. Combined with the sauce the sushi had a fantastic rich orange flavor. 

I also ordered a mango lemonade. I imagine they probably just use some mango syrup but it wasn't bad.

I'd love to share this experience with my wife. What more needs be said.

Awesome food and drinks.  Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.  Some food accommodations can be made since food is prepared to order.  Take-out available.  They have a full dining room, sushi bar, and regular bar (alcohol) areas - full menu served in all areas.  Dining room has indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is swanky & pretty inside, but not too expensive. High quality, healthy, delicious, filling entrees. Cool staff. Chill atmosphere, where you feel happy to enjoy each other's company. Come here when you've got time to hang out awhile.

Had dinner here. Service was amazing. So fast we hadn't even started appetizers while mains we're on the table already. Servers were very polite and friendly. Sashimi was very fresh and delicious. Def place to have some quality sushi and sashimi in Tempe :) thanks

We love this place. There are so many different sushi roll options in addition to sashimi nigiri and more traditional sushi. The variety is a plus-- so it's great to go as a group, order a number of different rolls and hot dishes, and then share them. Service is usually very quick and servers are attentive. The value for money is incredible here-- prices are considerably low for the great quality of sushi and food that you get. What I would say, however, is that the level of the restaurant seems to have become more casual recently, whereas in previous years it would have been a special place to take a date, it's now an inexpensive, more casual night out.
