We've been here twice. Last year we tent camped here and loved it. It's perfect for last minute tent camping close to the N. Rim. The staff was helpful and friendly. The place is pretty in the tall pines. The sinks are outside under the trees (I find this charming) and the bathrooms are ports potties that have been plumbed into the sewer system. I did not experience a smell on either cost and they were exceptionally clean. The shower house is nothing special but will get the job done in getting you clean. (It's a paid for shower, so bring quarters). This year we took our RV. The sites are a bit unlevel and some were tighter than others. We had full hookups (including sewer) and there are metal trash cans every few sites for you to use. The hosts were so kind and helpful. The gentleman even went and found some lumber to help us level our RV. I enjoyed tent camping here more, but still enjoyed being there in our RV. Call ahead and make RV reservations. You will probably get the answering machine but they will call you back promptly. For two years we have done last minute trips to the N. Rim and both times, we stayed here happily.

This RV park is about an hour drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. While it is possibly the only one with hookups, there seems to better places to stay. There appears to be limited full hookup sites, no dump station for those RVs who use the facilities in your RV, and no dumpster for trash. In some spots, the sites are extremely tight...so tight we are not able to pull our awning out. The biggest shocker, for me, was the bathrooms. They are modified outhouses! The modification is they are some how hooked to the sewer system. Sinks for washing after you use the bathroom are outside but there is no soap. Showers are $2.25 for 4 minutes, washers are $2 per load and $1.75 for the dryer. The two stars are due to the large amount of shade trees, easy of booking, and how clean the sites are.

This is a great RV Park. Spaces are big and ample space between them. Very quiet and good dark skies. 30 amp only.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet and peaceful, small and tucked into the woods. We loved it.

Clean area, hosts stay on top of things, nice pine trees, fire pits, coin showers, porta pottys hooked to sewers, have to buy firewood from office.i liked it. Will definately stay again.
