One of the most beautiful places you will ever go. The terrain is so different that you could imagine you are on a different planet. The admission charge at $10.00 per car was maybe the best 10 dollars we have ever spent. To tour the park you drive, then park and walk at points of interest. You will probably hike about 3 miles if you do all the spots. The drive is 28 miles long and you should allocate 4-6 hours to take it all in. Some highlights for us were the Blue Mesa and the Crystal Forest. This place is a real National treasure.

A must see!! It's incredibly beautiful. Fast rock formations and Old Rt 66 is tucked in there too. I personally loved it. From the lookout points to the Agate Bridge, to the amazing views.

If you haven't seen it it's well worth the stop. It takes over an hour just to drive through and if you stop a lot (and you will want to) you could spend four or five hours. lots of scenic pull outs and hiking trails.

Amazing! Such an underrated national park. So happy we stopped off on our way to Flagstaff from Albuquerque. Very few visitors around so in certain areas you have the whole park to yourself. The Painted Desert is quite a spectacle to behold.

This is a good place to visit. Particularly, it's interesting for geologists or any "rock" enthusiasts. It's about 3.5hrs away from Tempe. I would recommend going. Also, buy a year round pass for 80 bucks so that you can also visit Grand canyon. You will need to visit this place 2 times to see it completely.
