The only extreme problem I have with Kaiser is the abuse of charges for parking at the Sunset location. Years ago I use to pay $1.00 for the day, now they charge $5.00 for 30 minutes!! and not only that, the hospital front parking is now managed by ballet services when it should be only for handicap spaces for people being admitted and dismissed from the hospital!! The ballet parking attendants are young and strong enough and ARE GETTING PAID to park cars which should be parked in the parking building on 1505 Edgemont not just a few steps away from the main entrance of the hospital!! They were very rude to me as well!! What the heck is wrong with Kaiser? they're are now more interested in profitting from the parking business than the patients! Shame on them!

I have had Mitral Valve replacement procedure at Kaiser Sunset in Nov 2013. The Doctors, Nursing, Technical Staff & all support personal provided medical care & services in the most professional way imaginable. I was treated as a member of a "family" not, a medical record number! I have had numerous follow up post procedural visits and examinations ensuring the complete healing and success of this significant procedure. At every turn in the now 3+year process, I have been treated very well, with Kaiser being a very attentive to all of my post surgery needs, from Pain management thru diet and exercise ....Kaiser is ensuring the "I Thrive" and in a respectful way with monthly/quarterly followup ensuring my diet, exercise, medications,physical and emotional health are all progressing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAISER PERMANENTE, .... THEIR MEDICAL CARE DELIVERY SYSTEM WORKS & IS FILLED WITH HIGHLY SKILLED CARING PRACTITIONERS ----- they saved my LIFE!
