This hospital wanted to do major surgery on my stomach due to what they called necessary. I decided not to do it and gained 60 lbs. Makes me wonder who's best interest they are looking out for. Stomach specialist, who recommended the surgery was 100% WRONG. Don't trust these Dr's, get second opinion. They wouldn't let me check out until I got extremely rude. I only wanted a little more time to consult another Dr. Their excuse was hard for insurance to reinstate and sense I was in the hospital already, have the surgery. Without going back to this dreadful place, my health improved dramatically

I was bought here via Ambulance, which ruined my LA plans for the night, but my hospital experience has been fine. I did not have to sit around the waiting room, that might have agitated me and started my 3 night stay in the wrong mind set.... Anyways, I am a medical professional who works in hospitals myself, so I know how this experience could have been. (As in Bad) My nurses have been caring and responsive. My ICU nurses were the excellent, and now that I am on the floor, the nurses are just as attentive. The CNAs as well. The rooms are private, and that helps with sleep and healing. The doctors have pretty good bedside manner as well. Bonus. Food. You can order what you want. These little things all add up to better patient/customer experience for sure.

I came to this hospital because it was the closest by my house. Went to the E.R concerning my baby. The male Filipino nurse who works in the front was rude and making faces at the answers I was giving him. This visit was the second time I've been there, the first time I was there for my baby, he ended up telling me not to give too much formula to my baby because he was "fat". He is extremely unprofessional. I am a first time mother and he made me feel like I didnt know anything about being a mother. The doctor who assisted me in fact was really nice and professional. You don't treat people with attitude and disrespect!

One Common Denominator =》 Emergency Room This one hits home for me, so before writing an irrational review I took the time to research all the other reviews to find what the commonalities of the good vs. the bad reviews and found that the good reviews were coming from the Hospital and the bad reviews were all coming from the Emergency Room. Tiger Mom on this B. Although my experiences with the Maternity Department were great I have to go Tiger Mom on this and focus on exactly where it's lacking. Feel free to pay me for this free consulting. Katrina, if you're reading this, I found your fix to all your negative reviews. Without turning this review into a bashing session, replace the man behind the E.R. window with a face that you don't want to punch. As the face of the hospital, you need a person who is uplifting, kind, patient, and soft with words. Inner-city hospital = Inner-city expectations It's hard not to profile a hospital that was built 40 years ago and situated right in the heart of one of the most populated cities in the world. The book in this case does match the cover.

Worst nightmare ever!! I came to emergency room. So old and dirty. The front desk people are so mean and no nice at all. I wait from 9 pm to 1 am to enter to room. The nurse was so mean. They didn't care if you have pain... The nurse came to you so fast, give to you the treatment and then go for like an hour. I been thirsty, in a lot of pain, and they doesn't care at all. I request help and nobody cares and ignore you... Worst experience ever...
