I was ripped off $35. My wife came in for a mammogram. The check in clerk asked for $35. She said our insurance doesn’t pay that. I said it does and we shouldn’t have to pay anything since our insurance is 100 percent covered and 100 percent paid. She said they can’t allow the mammogram unless the $35 is paid up front and if my insurance paid it I will be refunded that amount. She added the hospital is good about refunds. Well, my insurance PAID the $35 but it was never refunded back to me and it’s been a year.

We had a great experience, with prompt,  excellent, and kind treatment from all involved. Our triple-board certified doctor was clearly a confident, careful, and expert clinician.  He helped keep our anxious daughter calm and explained everything well.

I went there with a Mersa infection in my thumb that clearly should've been drained as puss/infection was under my thumbnail. They instead gave me antibiotics in the triage and instructed "if it gets worse come back and it may need draining". Well it got horribly worse and was drained at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. MY POINT: It should've been addressed at Hollywood Presbyterian without them passing the buck. It took 2 years for my thumbnail to grow back and it's still not 100% right.

Terrible experience ! When you have a life and death emergency 🚨, they place you in a room with chairs and a bed that someone died in . It’s very unsanitary . Don’t bring your kids here they may get infected !!!!
