I called about scheduling an oil change and they don't do appointments ... it's "first come, first served". When I arrived in the late afternoon the receptionist told me they were "completely booked" and let me know that it would have to be tomorrow. I asked what time they open and asked if they could work me in first thing if I showed up when they open. "Well, I've gotten here some mornings and had four people standing in line..." was the answer I got. A simple oil change. I think this place could use some customer service training to say the least, and I *won't* be getting my oil changed here, or having any other repairs done either. I called Christian Brothers Automotive and the experience was completely different ... courteous, helpful, AND (gasp) they actually scheduled a time for me to bring my vehicle in.

I just got off the phone with Ken about my BMW. There was a communication issue between the technician and the sales associate on the replacement of the thermostat. Ken had discussed this issue with both and acknowledged there was not a problem with the thermostat. The tech is new to his shop and he made an incorrect decision based on the length of time it took the car to heat up. This was an honest mistake and lesson learned not to communicate a problem without complete diagnosis (in this case an error code) of the problem. Happy customer once again. Thanks Ken for the time and discussion. I have been a loyal customer at KAMS for many years and believe they were a top repair shop. There have been recent events with my BMW and my son's Nissan that has changed my opinion. I both cases there were multiple trips to the shop to repair the cars. In both cases I had expressed a lack of confidence the problems were resolved. The most recent was my BMW with a cooling system problem. It was fully rebuilt by KAMS in Dec 2015. In June 2017 there were multiple failures of the cooling system. The water pump was replaced again with several hoses. That was nearly $2000 spent on the system in less than 2 years. I took the car back for unrelated services and was told my thermostat was bad and needed to be replaced at a cost of $600+. I expressed significant dissatisfaction of that news and asked the Sale Associate to make Ken aware of my dissatisfaction. Ken had a great shop and could again. My cars won't go back for a while. BTW the thermostat is fine. I just got off the phone with Ken about my BMW. There was a communication issue between

I went there for a dead battery. Although they were about to close, they still took my car in, made a quick inspection to make sure it was not the alternator (per my request - they already know I just needed a new battery, but I insisted) and they didn't complain once! All I received was amazing customer service and a new battery for a fair price! You can tell the people who wok here simply love what they do and making their customers happy. It is quite a drive for me, but if, God forbid, I have issues with my car again, I'm bringing it to KAMS!

I have always enjoyed my experiences at KAMS & this time they didn't let me down. I needed new CV joints & they replaced them & the axles in the agreed upon time & $100 less on each side than the dealer. The people there are always so nice. It was also nice to not be up sold even though my check engine light was on. I know they'll be there for me if I need further help with that.
