We moved from Louisiana to Bluffton last September and had to find a new State Farm agent. I sent Kevin a message advising him we were looking for a new agent and from that very moment Kevin completely took over all our policies, answered all our questions, offered help and suggestions for everything from registering the car to get plates to where to go eat. He truly epitomizes the Good Neighbor brand. I have been a State Farm customer for years, but I’ve yet to ever have an agent as friendly, helpful and involved as Kevin. As a matter of fact, in my 9 years in Louisiana, I never actually met my agent there face to face. Thanks for everything Kevin!

Very poor experience with this branch. Originally they misquoted me $190/mo for a single policy with absolute minimal coverage. I have an excellent driving record and the only tarnish was a lapse in coverage due to my policy being mishandled. After this was fixed my policy dropped to $130 which is still much too high (in my opinion), but I paid it. The next month I tried to transfer my policy to a different branch, because I moved to a different city. They would not let me transfer my policy due to "the original problems that they mishandled, causing the $190" quote to begin with. The only way they said I could get a policy in the local office is to cancel my insurance and have a lapse in coverage. Or my other option is to stay with the current office, which caused the problem to begin with and is no longer convenient to my new residence. This is not acceptable. I understand there are probably policies to prevent policy poaching, but when it is customer initiated because of relocation, surely State Farm could help me if they want me to remain a customer. Because my third option is to get coverage somewhere else locally, and that is the direction it looks like I'm forced to go.

I'm from New York and people work there ass off to fight for an insurance policy.i recently just moved here to open up an itialian restaurant,and I needed insurance for my restaurant.i call them and left 3 massages,no call back...very disappointed in this State Farm in South Carolina!!!!

Kevin is willing to go way above and beyond what you would expect an insurance agent to do! We live in Wisconsin. Kevin is not even our agent. In fact, we have never even met! But it is because of him that our daughter was reunited with her lost ring. When our daughter lost her ruby/diamond ring that we had given her 4 years ago for her 16th birthday, she was devastated. She didn't want the insurance money, she wanted "her" ring back. Long story short, the exact same ring was located at an outlet store in HiltonHead, SC....but the store would not sell it to us over the phone, nor would they accept a money order. It had to be purchased in person. Our agent called Kevin and he agreed to help!....on his own time, in between taking his son to baseball! The result of his willingness to go out of his way?....Our daughter has a smile on her face and a ring on her finger! If he is willing to put forth this much effort for us when we are not even his clients, I am sure he is the type of agent who would do whatever it takes to serve his own clients well. Trustworthy, hardworking, honest, dependable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an agent in this geographic area! Thanks Kevin!
